 بعد مدت کے کتابوں سے نکل آئے ہو

سوکھے خوابیدہ گلابوں سے نکل آئے ہو 

یونہی سامان پرانے پہ نظر جا ٹھہری

پھر سے تم بند لفافوں سے نکل آئے ہو

کیا یہ زنجیر، یہ زندان، کڑے پہرے کریں

روشنی بن کے کواڑوں سے نکل آئے ہو

تم جو ہر آن یونہی رہتے ہو ہنستے بستے

کیا محبت کے عتابوں سے نکل آئے ہو

کس قدر سادگی ہے سانس بھی تم لیتے ہو

اور سمجھتے ہو عذابوں سے نکل آئے ہو

اب طلب ہے نہ تجسس نہ ہے وہ عہدِ وفا

تم غلط سوچ، ارادوں سے نکل آئے ہو

وقت گزرا نہیں لوٹے گا سو بیکار ہی تم 

بدگمانی کی پناہوں سے نکل آئے ہو

ایک جو چپ سی لگی ہے تمہیں تازہ ابرک

تھک گئے ہو یا سوالوں سے نکل آئے ہو

In Hindi:

बाद की अवधि की पुस्तकों से बाहर आ रहा है

सूखे स्वप्नदोष से बाहर आओ

इतनी पुरानी चीजें दिखती हैं

फिर आप सीलबंद लिफाफे से बाहर आते हैं

यह जंजीर, यह कारागृह, तंग घड़ी

दरवाजों से रोशनी निकल आई है

आप जो हर दिन ऐसे ही जीते हैं हँसते हैं

क्या आप प्यार से बाहर आ गए हैं?

आप कितना सरल सांस लेते हैं

और आपको लगता है कि आप पीड़ा से बाहर आ गए हैं

अब न तो जिज्ञासा है और न ही जिज्ञासा

आप गलत सोच, इरादों से बाहर आ गए हैं

समय वापस नहीं आएगा, इसलिए आप बेकार हैं

संदेह की शरण से बाहर आए हैं

जो शांत है वह आपके लिए ताजा अभ्रक है

थका हुआ या सवालों से बाहर

In English:

Coming out of later period books

Come out of dry dreamy roses

That's how old things look

Then you come out of the sealed envelopes

Do this chain, this prison, tight watch

The light has come out of the doors

You who live like this every day laugh

Have you come out of love?

How simple you breathe

And you think you have come out of the torment

Now there is neither curiosity nor curiosity

You have come out of wrong thinking, intentions

Time will not return, so you are useless

Have come out of the shelter of suspicion

The one that is quiet is fresh mica to you

Tired or out of questions
